Ibukun Awosika is the Chairman, Board of Directors, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria's premier and most valuable banking brand. She is also the founder and CEO of The Chair Centre Group. The companies in the group include: The Chair Centre Limited, Sokoa Chair Centre Limited, Furniture Manufacturers Mart, TCC Security Systems and Cubes and Boxes Limited. These companies are involved in manufacturing, retail and bank-way security systems services.
Ibukun chairs a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards amongst which are: House of Tara International and Afterschool Graduate Development Centre (AGDC), a facility which she promoted to help address youth employability and enterprise issues in Nigeria. She sits on the boards of Digital Jewel Limited, Cadbury Nigeria Plc., Convention on Business Integrity (CBI) and the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority. She was Chairman, FBN Life Assurance Limited, FBN Capital Limited and Kakawa Discount House Limited.
Ibukun is a graduate of Chemistry from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria; an alumna of the Chief Executive Programme of Lagos Business School; the Global Executive MBA of IESE Business School, Barcelona-Spain; and Global CEO Programme of Wharton, IESE and China European International Business School (CEIBS).
With high interest in social issues, including women, Ibukun is a co-founder and past chairperson of Women in Business, Management and Public Service (WIMBIZ). An ordained Pastor and founder of the Christian Missionary Fund, Ibukun, through this faith-based organization works with hundreds of missionaries spread across Nigeria to change lives with the provision of medical, educational, and other supplies.
As a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative, Aspen Global Leadership Network, Institute of Directors and Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, Ibukun, through her projects aspires to use her opportunities in life to further the greatness of her dear country by raising entrepreneurs to create jobs for the large unemployed youthful population. She is a member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), served on National Job Creation Committee (NJCC), and sits on the International Advisory Board of IESE Business School, Barcelona-Spain.
Ibukun is a multiple award-winning entrepreneur and the first Nigerian recipient of the prestigious International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Award as a nominee of the US Department of State in 2008. She loves to watch investigative and legal series in her leisure time. She is happily married to Abiodun Awosika and they are blessed with three wonderful sons.

He is the author of “Footprints: Leading Beyond Today” a book already in the world market, which was forwarded by Dr. Myles Munroe. He is a graduate of Imo state University where he served as the first elected Students Union Government president; he had his youth service with the National Assembly, Abuja. He thereafter proceeded to carry out a research on his area of passion: ‘Leadership Development’ at the Lagos Business School. He is an associate member of the International Third World Leadership Association (ITWLA) in the Bahamas, a recipient of an honorary degree in Management and a Master’s degree holder in Organizational Leadership at Regent University Virginia Beach United States. He is an alumnus of the International Visitors Program (IVLP) sponsored by the US government under the department of State.
He recently bagged an Honorary Doctorial Award and was inducted into the College of Fellows at the African Business School, Abuja.
He lives in Abuja, Nigeria with his wife Nkiru, his two daughters Ebubechukwu, Chiamaka and his son Chukwuebuka.
Chidi E. Amakaeze Ben Aaron is the Kohen Gadol and General Overseer of the Community of Hashem Worldwide, a Jewish organization in Nigeria with synagogues in countries around the World. He started his university education in the Enugu State University of Technology but moved to England to complete his university education in the University of Buckingham. In England, he dedicated his spare hours to Bible study and Mission service.
From England, he moved to the United States of America where he continued his missionary services. However, following the death of the founder of the Community of Hashem Worldwide in 1995, he returned to Nigeria to take over the mantle of leadership of the Community of Hashem Worldwide. Since then, he has been studying and teaching the principles of the Bible which he popularly describes as the Sound Doctrine.
Chidi E. Amakaeze Ben Aaron is committed to nation building through personal development and selfless service. He is very passionate about the timeless principles of God. He resides in the Coal City capital of Enugu, Enugu State Nigeria with his wife, Gboliwe Nkemdilim, and their lovely children.
A 1989 BSc holder in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD) from the University of Lagos in 1997, Olusegun Adeniyi began his journalism career as a Staff Reporter with 'The Guardian' newspaper of Nigeria in December 1990. In April 1992, he left 'The Guardian' to join the 'African Concord' magazine as a Senior Staff Writer and in September of the same year, he was appointed the magazine's Abuja Bureau Chief with accreditation to cover the State House.
Adeniyi joined THISDAY newspaper in January 1999 as Deputy Editor of the Saturday newspaper before he later became editor of the Sunday THISDAY; and in August 2005, he was appointed the editor of THISDAY title. On 30th May, 2007, he was appointed by the late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua to be his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, a position he occupied until Yar'Adua died on 5th May, 2010.
Adeniyi has attended and participated in several professional and academic programmes in many countries. Notably, in July 2007, he attended the International Visitor Leadership Programme organised by the US State Department. He also attended the Chinese government-sponsored 'Seminar on Press and Publications in Developing Countries' in Beijing in April 2012. He spent the 2010/2011 academic session as a Fellow at the Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs, Harvard University where he conducted his research on the factors that shape incumbent presidential elections in Africa. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI) and a founding member of the National Stakeholder Working Group of the Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI).
Adeniyi has delivered speeches in several countries, including in August 2016 at the China-Africa Public Diplomacy Forum which held in Tanzania and is the author of five books: The Last 100 Days of Abacha; Abiola's Travails; Fortress on Quicksand; POLITRICKS: National Assembly under Military Dictatorship and Power, Politics and Death: A front-row account of Nigeria under the late President Yar'Adua.
Adeniyi, who, for the second year, is a member of the Panel of Judges for the Nigeria Breweries Plc 'Maltina Teacher of the Year 2016', was recently appointed a member of the advisory board for the Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG), founded and chaired by Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, with a focus on partnering with leading academic institutions in the world for the award of post-graduate scholarships to outstanding Nigerians and Ghanaians who are expected to come back and work in their respective country's public sector as change agents.
Married with three children, Adeniyi is currently the Chairman of THISDAY Editorial Board and writes a weekly column, 'The Verdict'.
An IT professional with over 20 years post-qualification experience, he was with Nigerian American Merchant Bank prior to joining Kakawa, Discount House (now FBN Merchant Bank) and he served as Head of the Information Technology, and Internal Audit & Control Departments. He was responsible for setting up the Information Technology System for the former Kakawa Discount House (now FBN Merchant Bank). He was later appointed as Head, Business Support Group with a portfolio that covered Operations, Financial Control and Accounts. In further recognition of his management prowess, the Board appointed him Ag. Managing Director/CEO in April 2015 during the period of integration into the FBN Holdings Group.
Until his exit in 2016, Gboyega Fatoki was an Executive Director of FBN Merchant Bank Limited. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and has a passion to mentor young adults particularly in the area of financial empowerment.
